Safety and Hygiene Policies for Zeel In-Person Services

At Zeel, our top priority has always been to make access to vital health and wellness services as seamless and safe as possible. The past few months have made the importance of this mission clearer than ever. 

As states begin to re-open, Zeel is updating the health and safety guidelines we share with the thousands of therapists on the Zeel network. These guidelines are in accordance with best-in-class spa and hospitality protocols, as well as federal, state, and local guidelines and directives surrounding the delivery of wellness services.

Guidelines for providers in the Zeel network:

• Providers may wear masks/facial coverings and/or gloves during treatments as an enhanced safety measure.
• Each day upon opening the Zeel app, the provider is confirming he/she displays no symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious illnesses.
• Providers are following the CDC guidelines on handwashing or using hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content.
• Providers are encouraged to do daily temperature taking.
• Providers are asked to remove shoes upon entry.
• Best practice for the industry is to disinfect equipment between customers.

To keep the providers in the Zeel network safe, we ask all Zeel clients to:

• Refrain from booking an in-home treatment if you or a household member have a fever, COVID-19 symptoms, or a communicable illness.
• For in-home services, refrain from booking an in-home treatment if you or members of your household are under an isolation or quarantine order/directive.
• For in-home services, use your own sheets.
• Wear a face mask.
• Wash hands thoroughly prior to beginning each treatment.
• Share special sanitation or hygiene requests prior to the provider arriving at your home, workplace, or spa. 
• You are welcome to share masks/gloves and no-contact thermometers with providers, should you wish to do so.
